About this page

This page is used to record information about the licences that may be required by users engaged in particular activities or for facilities used for specific activities.

Licence related items are available in the following modules: Ethics, HDR Student, Personnel.

Menu path: RME > Setup > Licenses (Search) > Licenses

 

Add a new licence

1.     In the RME menu, select Setup > Licence.

2.     In the toolbar, click the New button.

3.     Complete the fields, using the table below as a guide.

4.     In the toolbar, click Save. To go back to the previous page, click it in the breadcrumb trail or use your browser Back button.

Current?

Indicates if the licence is currently active

If the licence is no longer current but you want to retain the record for historical purposes, slide this to No.

Only current records are listed on the Licence search page by default.

Additional details about the licence

Licence Code

Unique licence code

Can be configured in the system to generate the code automatically in User Codes Configuration.

Licence Type

Type of licence, from a defined list

Source

Use From

First date the licence was valid

Use To

Last date the licence will be valid
 

Manage Licence records

You manage core records from the module search page, Results tab. Select records in the grid and select the New, Delete and Export buttons on the toolbar in Licence search.
