Description |
Only authorised users can use RME applications. Users pages allow administrators to provide users with the log-in credentials as well as assign appropriate permissions. |
You can create a role in the system to allow easier functional security configuration for system users. You can associate a role with a set of defined Page Views and specified permissions. Access to reports are controlled by roles. There are a number of the default roles that are provided with the system, however they can be modified to your university requirements. |
To control access to pages in RME, you can associate a role or individual users with Page Views. You can create more than one Page View for one physical RME page that you can assign to different roles or users. Page Views control access to core module pages, eForm listing pages, workflows and RME Designer access. If you want the role or user to be able to access and use an eForm, you need to include access to the relevant RME module pages for all data used in the form, and eForm listing pages for the form. |
To control the labels that display in the user interface - the pages and fields that users see and interact with - you can change the label names to suit your institution.
