This page is used to capture the details for an organisational unit in your organisation. There are different pages to capture the basic details and relationship details.
The Org. Unit label may sometimes be customised for your institution to Department, Faculty or School.
These are also referred to in the system in some places as "AOUs", administrative organisational units. These are different to Organisation records. External organisations can be those that provide funding, those in which external personnel maybe employed, or in which the facilities maybe used for research. The Organisation record marked as the Primary represents your institution across the system. There can also be subsidiary internal organisations under this (marked as Internal).
