About this page

This page is used to define clause sets. Clause sets are defined in the system to group clauses that are commonly used together. The individual clauses need to be created first, before you can add them to a clause set. See: Clause Definition search.

If you need to modify the content of a clause for a clause set, you can edit it within the clause set. That way, the source clause will not be changed. When you save the changed clause content, the status of the clause is marked as Custom.

When a clause definition text is updated, the change is reflected in all the contracts where the clause set is used and hasn't been changed within the clause set (Custom).
