About this page

This page is used to record administrative details for the course used in HDR Student course enrolments, such as the duration of the course and the responsible Org. Unit (department, school or faculty).

Menu path: RME > HDR Students > Courses (Search) > Courses

 

Add course details

1.     In the RME menu, select HDR > Courses.

2.     In the toolbar, click the New button.

3.     Complete the fields, using the table below as a guide.

4.     In the toolbar, click Save. To go back to the previous page, click it in the breadcrumb trail or use your browser Back button. When the details are saved, related items become available: Acceptance Criteria and Subjects

CRICOS code, from a defined list, if the course is listed on the Commonwealth Register of Institutes and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS)

Yes by default

Indicates if the course record is current

If the course is no longer current, slide this to No.

End Date

End date of the course

Expected Duration

Expected length of the course in years as defined by your institution's policy

This is normally aligned with the Gov. Funded Duration and can be extended on an individual base through an HDR extension.

Funded EFTSL

Maximum EFTSL load to receive funding

Funding Type

Payment method for the course

Example: Full fee or HECS associated

Manage Course records

 You manage core records from the module search page, Results tab. Select records in the grid and select the New, Delete and Export buttons on the toolbar in Courses search.
