This related item is used to add subjects for a course record.
• You can add one or more subjects to a course, and more than one can be marked as current.
• A subject can only be added once per course.
• When added, users can search for courses based on linked subjects.
There is also a Subjects related item in a Student record. When a new Course record is created, either by manually entering details or via an API or the Student Feeder, current linked subjects are automatically copied to the Subjects related item in the Student record. If changes are made to the Course enrolment record, subject details will not be re-copied.
Menu path: RME > HDR Students > Courses (Search) > Courses > Subjects
1. From the RME menu, select HDR > Courses and select a course record.
2. In the Course record, open the Subjects related item.
3. At the far right of the related item, click Add.
4. Complete the fields, using the tables below as a guide.
5. In the toolbar, click Save. To go back to the previous page, click it in the breadcrumb trail or use your browser Back button.

• In Advanced search, you may be able to search for students or courses based on linked subjects, depending on your access and permissions.
• You can include the details from this related item in reports.
