This page is used to configure aspects of the NHMRC import process and map the NHMRC data to RME fields.
The
toolbar on this page offers options that are relevant for the feeder,
such as Save. Other options that are standard for
RME pages, such as New, Next and Previous are not relevant for feeders and do not
display.
Menu path: RME > Integrations > NHMRC Grant Import > Import tab > Manage Mapping and Field Configuration link
1. In the NHMRC Grants Import page, click the Manage Configuration and Field Mapping link.
2. Complete the fields, using the table below as a guide.
3. Map NHMRC data to RME fields in these tabs: Investigator Positions, Investigator Titles and Application Status.
4. In the toolbar, click Save. To go back to the previous page, click it in the breadcrumb trail or use your browser Back button.

When importing, the system will search for project records with a matching ID in the defined RME field. If a match is found in RME, the project details will not be imported as a project record already exists. If no matching project is found, a project record is created in RME with the imported data and other details from the import and configuration pages. |
You cannot use custom fields. Do not change this once it is decided.

The import process will automatically match positions by name, such as Chief Investigator, so if the NHMRC and RME position names match exactly, you don’t need to map them. If there are some NHMRC names that don’t exist in RME though, use this tab to map them. If a position is not mapped and no match is found, it will be set as Not Specified.
1. In the NHMRC Position field, enter a NHMRC position from the text file.
2. In the RME Position field, enter the corresponding

3. To continue adding positions, click the Add button to start a new line and repeat the above steps.
4. In the toolbar, click Save. To go back to the previous page, click it in the breadcrumb trail or use your browser Back button.
The import process will automatically match titles, such as Mr, Dr or Assoc. Professor, so if the NHMRC and RME title names match exactly, you don’t need to map them. If there are some NHMRC titles that don’t exist in RME, use this field to map them. If a title is not mapped and no match is found, it will be set as Not Specified.

RME title.

4. In the toolbar, click Save. To go back to the previous page, click it in the breadcrumb trail or use your browser Back button.
Use this option to define mappings between NHMRC and RME project statuses, such as Applicant Submitted or Review Finalised. Any project with a NHMRC Application Status that is not mapped to an RME status will be rejected and no project record will be created.
1. Click Add button to start a new line.
2. In the NHMRC Status field, enter a NHMRC status from the APP_DATA text file.
3. In the RME Status field, enter the corresponding RME status.
4. To continue adding statuses, click the Add button to start a new line and repeat the above steps.
5. In the toolbar, click Save. To go back to the previous page, click it in the breadcrumb trail or use your browser Back button.
