This related item is used to restrict or enable the user to access core records or eForms based on the project type. The system checks the Project Type dropdown in records or eForms.
The list for a Project Type dropdown is populated by current items in the Project Types category maintained in RME > Setup > Categories > Project Related Categories.
If you have the required access to change your own User record, be aware that if you make changes to this related item and save, changes will be applied immediately, which may impact your access or permissions and result in limited functionality.
Menu path: RME > Users > Users (Search) > Users > Project Access Security
To assign access to data based on Project Type for a user, follow these steps:
1. In the User details page, click the Add link on the Project Access Security related item grid. The Project Access Security page displays, listing the available, current types.
2. For each project type you want to assign to the user, tick the checkbox in the first column. To add all types, tick the checkbox in the column header.
3. In the toolbar, click Save.
To remove access to data based on Project Type for a user, follow these steps:
1. In the User details page, click the Add link on the Project Access Security related item grid.
2. For each project type you want to remove from the user, un-tick the checkbox in the first column. To remove all types, un-tick the checkbox in the column header.
3. In the toolbar, click Save.
