This help page explains how to review an eForm.
When a user completes an eForm and submits it for review, it displays in the eForm listing page for all reviewers assigned to the eForm. Reviewers may be assigned automatically based on role, or they may be directly assigned to a specific eForm.
If you are a reviewer of an eForm application, you may need to simply review it and comment. The eForm will be listed in the For Review tab.
Sometimes, you are required to enter a specific review outcome. In this case, the eForm will be listed in the For Assessment Review tab. Enter your outcome via Review Outcome.
The Toolbar panel to the right of an open eForm lists the workflow actions available to you based on your role, permissions, and the workflow state of the eForm. Review actions are only visible when the eForm actually needs to be reviewed (when it is in a review workflow state).
As all workflow actions are configured by your RME administrators to suit your institution’s requirements, the label for each option will be customised. As a guide, the types of workflow actions that may typically be available to a reviewer might include:
• Enter Outcome: Enter a formal review outcome; see: Enter Review Outcome
• Return to Applicant: Return the eForm application to the applicant for amendments or with questions
• Reviewer Group: (often labelled with the name of the reviewer group) Add another reviewer, committee or panel to the eForm
• Move to the next state (or similar): If you are directly assigned as a reviewer, rather than via a role, committee or panel, and selected as the ‘Executive’ reviewer, you may see an action option to allow you to move the eForm to the next workflow state once you are satisfied that the eForm has been reviewed by all of the assigned reviewers.
