About this page

This related item displays within a saved Fund Scheme related item for a project. It is optional and can be used to record the funding breakdown by year.

The breakdown may consist of the amount applied for the year, the amount approved for the year, and the amount actually received for the year (depending on the page layout for your institution).

eForm relationship: May be populated by data in a Linked Fund Scheme RIC, Fund Scheme Amounts field grid in a Research Project Request (RPR) eForm, when a Push to Database Tables activity is executed in the workflow.

Menu path: RME menu > Projects (search) > Project > Fund Schemes >  Fund Schemes Budget

 

Add fund scheme budget details

1.     In the Project record, go to the Fund Schemes related item and open the relevant Fund Scheme entry.

2.     In the open Fund Scheme related item, go to the Fund Scheme Budget related item.

3.     At the far right of the related item, click Add.

4.     Complete the fields, using the table below as a guide.

5.     In the toolbar, click Save. To go back to the previous page, click it in the breadcrumb trail or use your browser Back button.

Manage Fund Scheme Budget records

You manage records in the parent related item. Click the links for Add, Delete or Export in the Fund Scheme related item.

 

API and reporting notes

In v7.10.4, separate fields for cash and in-kind amounts were added. The total fields were previously the only amount fields, used for the total of the cash and in-kind amounts. The labels were: Amt. Applied, Amt. Approved and Amt. Received.

Reporting Views:

In Reporting Views used to create reports, these field names for total fields remain as they were before the change to avoid impacts on reports created before separate cash and in-kind fields were added to this page.

RME Web API and RME API - Read Only:

Existing API property names for total fields remain as they were before the change to avoid impacts on existing integrations.

APIs will not auto-calculate. For Cash or In-kind data, the request is subject to standard validation (cash + in-kind must equal the total). If only the total is entered for PUT/POST, the amount defaults as cash.
