About this page

This page is used to record details about a conference. These details will be copied to a new research output record created when the conference is selected, if the corresponding fields are selected in the Research Outputs category.

Menu path: RME > Research Outputs > Conferences (Search) > Conferences

 

Add new conference details

1.     From the RME menu, select Research Outputs > Conferences.

2.     In the toolbar, click the New button.

3.     Complete the fields, using the table below as a guide.

4.     In the toolbar, click Save. To go back to the previous page, click it in the breadcrumb trail or use your browser Back button.

Conferences: Fields

Default Field Label

Description

Abbreviated Name *

Mandatory

Short name for the conference

City Published

City in which the conference took place

Country Published

Country in which the conference took place, from a defined list

Source

Current?

Yes by default

Indicates if the conference record is currently active

If the conference record is no longer used, slide to No. It will not be available for selection when entering a research output.

For Review?

Yes by default

Indicates if the conference details need to be reviewed

Once reviewed, slide this to No.

Issue

Issue in which the conference was published

Title *

Mandatory

HTML conference title

The title can be in any language and can also include formatting, such as bold, using the format toolbar. See: Text editing toolbar

Venue

Name of the venue in which the conference took place

Volume

Volume in which the conference was published

 

Manage Conference records

You manage core records from the module search page, Results tab. Select records in the grid and use the New, Delete or Export buttons on the toolbar in  Conferences search.
