About this page

Classification codes are assigned to a fund scheme to identify the type of funding the funding body may be providing. There are a number of classification code groups which can be assigned to the fund scheme. These classifications can also be used to group fund schemes for reporting.

Classifications: Fields

Field Label

Description

Code *

Mandatory

Lookup to search for and add a classification code

Items available in the lookup are based on the value selected in the Type Code field. If no value is selected in the Type Code field, all classification items will be searchable. Once a selection is made in this field, the Type Code field will be auto-completed when the record is saved based on the selected code.

Current?

Yes by default

Indicates if this classification applies to the fund scheme

If the classification no longer applies, slide this to No.

Percentage *

Mandatory

Percentage of each classification within a classification type

The percentage for a single Classification record cannot be greater than 100.

The total percentage for multiple Classification records of the same type cannot be greater than 100.

Non-current records are not counted in the total percentage calculation.

If you only enter one classification code from a classification type, enter 100. If you enter more than one classification code from a classification type, split the percentage as required, for example, 60/40.

The default is 0 but can be changed in the Page View if you have appropriate permission.

Primary?

Indicates which code is the primary code if there is more than one code for a classification type

Only one code within a classification type can be primary.

If you want to change the primary, edit the current primary to slide this to No, then set the new one as the primary.

More than one primary shown? View the Multiple primary records tip to fix it.
