About this page

This page is used by RME administrators to record information about the funding body, the funding being offered, application procedures, important dates for funding rounds, funding policies, reporting requirements.

Organisations can be linked to a fund scheme via the Organisation field in this page. An internal fund scheme is linked to the Primary Fund Scheme record, which represents your institution in the system.

Multiple organisations for a fund scheme

If a fund scheme has more than one organisation, use this alternative method:

1.     Ensure that Organisation records exist for all organisations you want to link to the fund scheme.

2.     Go to RME > Users > Page Views and open the Fund Scheme Page View FND001.

3.     In the  Organisation field, change the Access Type property from Required (default) to Optional. This will allow the Fund Scheme record to be saved without an organisation being selected.

4.     Users will then need to select the relevant organisation in an RPR eForm or Project record, Fund Scheme related item, from a list of all current organisations in the system.

Scholarship Management and Payment Tool

If SMPT is used, a separate section displays for scholarship-type fund schemes: Scholarship Eligibility.

Menu path: RME menu > Setup > Fund Schemes (Search) > Fund Schemes

Add fund scheme details

1.     In the RME menu, select Setup > Fund Schemes.

2.     In the toolbar, click the New button.

3.     Complete the fields, using the tables below as a guide.

4.     In the toolbar, click Save. To go back to the previous page, click it in the breadcrumb trail or use your browser Back button.

If there is more than one organisation for the fund scheme, do not link any organisation to the Fund Scheme core record in this field. Instead, the end user will be able to select the relevant organisation in an RPR eForm or Project record, Fund Scheme related item, from a list of all current organisations in the system.
