About this page

This related item allows you to assign reports to the selected role. This page displays when you click Add from the related item grid in the Role record.

RME Reports are accessed from the Reports button on the toolbar on main RME modules pages.

Reports are created and published in RME Designer, Report Designer.

You can only assign reports to a role, not an individual user.

You must assign a report to at least one role, otherwise it will not be available for anyone to view in RME.

Menu path: RME > Users > Roles (Search) > Roles > Report Role Access

Add report access to a role

1.     In the Role record, open the Report Role Access related item.

2.     At the far right of the related item, click Add. To view an existing item, click the Open icon next to it in the grid.

3.     In the Module dropdown, select the relevant module or the eForm option.

4.     In the Page dropdown, select the page for the report, if relevant. If you selected eForm in step 2, select the eForm listing page for the report.
For RME core, there may be different reports available for different pages, for example, for HDRCM there are reports for both Student and Course details.

If viewing an existing entry from the Report Role Access related item grid in the Roles record, the Module and Pages dropdowns in this page will be automatically set to the module and page for that report.

5.     All the published reports for that module or eForm listing page will be displayed. For each report you want to add to the role, in the first column, tick the checkbox. If you want to add all the reports for that module, tick the checkbox in the column header.

6.     Click Save to assign the reports to the role.

Remove report access from a role

1.     Follow steps 1 to 3 above for adding access.

2.     For each report you want to remove from the role, in the first column, un-tick the checkbox. If you want to remove all the reports for that role, un-tick the checkbox in the column header.

3.     Click Save to remove access to the selected reports.
