This related item allows you to assign and manage Page Views for a role. Page Views are used to grant access to individual RME pages to the role. You choose the level of access for the page as well as page actions to control what a user can see or do.
You can create more than one Page View for the same physical RME page and assign each to a different role or user.
You need to select each page that you want to assign. There is currently
no option to select a core record and have all related items for that
record automatically selected. This functionality will be investigated
for future release.
The Home page (WEL001) is automatically assigned to all users to allow access; it cannot be assigned or unassigned via Page Views.
Menu path: RME > Users > Roles (Search) > Roles > Role Page Views
To assign a Page View to a role:
1. In the Role record, open the User Page Views related item.
2. At the far right of the related item, click Add.
3. The Role Page Views page displays listing the available views, grouped by module in a tree. There are several levels to reflect the module, record and related items. To find the Page View you want to assign:
Click the arrow icon to expand the tree.
Keep expanding until you find the page you want, then click that to display the detail fields to the right.
4. In the Access Type dropdown, select
the appropriate level of access for the user, using the table below as
a guide.
The Manage Dashboard page DAS001 is slightly different. See: Dashboards,
Access types and available functions.
5. If the Page View has Page Actions, select the relevant checkbox/es to assign actions to the user.
6. In the toolbar, click Save. To go back to the previous page, click it in the breadcrumb trail or use your browser Back button.
