This page is used to enter quotation details to generate a quotation for a funding organisation.
This page only displays and is editable if all of the following criteria are met:
• Use Pricing for Consultancy Projects? = Yes
• Use Quotation Builder = Yes
The quotation output can only be viewed and used if the following criteria are met:
• The quotation output report is available for the project via the filter settings in the Output Configuration page (RME > Projects > Funding Rules > Output Configuration tab).
• The Costing
and Pricing Tool Quotation output
report has
been assigned to your role.
If not, you won't be able to view or send the quotation output. Contact
your RME administrator.
Begin by entering details in the Organisation Details section about the funding organisation displayed in the Organisation Name field. This is automatically populated by the organisation associated to the primary fund scheme, shown in the Funding Rules page in the tool.
Long values in the grid: For some values in the grid, if it is longer than the column width, it is truncated with ellipses (...). You can either change the column width to show the full value or mouse over it to view a tooltip of the full value.

Australian Business Number for the organisation Auto-populated with the ABN for the organisation, if available. This can be edited in the tool for quotation purposes but the changed value will not be reflected in the core record. |
Address |
Default: Address selected for the organisation in the fund scheme RIC in the eForm Address for the quote Address options for the organisation display in a dropdown, if available. The list shows concatenated text of all the address fields. |
Contact Email |
Default: Contact email for the selected address for the organisation Email address of the contact person at the selected organisation address This can be edited in the tool for quotation purposes but the changed value will not be reflected in the core record. |
Contact Name |
Default: Contact name for the selected address for the organisation Name of the contact person at the selected organisation address This can be edited in the tool for quotation purposes but the changed value will not be reflected in the core record. |
Contact Position |
Default: Contact position for the selected address for the organisation Role held by the contact person at the selected organisation address This can be edited in the tool for quotation purposes but the changed value will not be reflected in the core record. |

Once the organisation details are completed, you enter the details for the quotation, using the table below as a guide:

(Cost item grid) |
Grid to enter each cost item for the quotation One line is shown by default. You can add more lines as needed via the Plus (+) icon at the end of the line. For each item, enter details in the columns of the grid as follows: • Item: Number of the item • Description: What the item is • Cost (AUD): Cost of the item in Australian Dollars Amounts cannot be negative. Amounts can be to two decimal places. A running total of the costs displays in the Total fields below the grid. The Balance to Quote value will reduce by cost amounts. To delete an item, click the Bin icon at the end of the line. |

Once all the details are entered, save the quotation via the Save button on the toolbar.
The details are entered into a quotation output for the Costing and Pricing Tool module, created as a report in RME Designer.
You can view this via the Output button on the toolbar. This can be saved in the following formats: PDF, XLS, XLSX, RTF, MHT, HTML, text, CSV and image. You can send this in the desired format to the funding organisation (via internal processes or approval if this is required by your institution).

The panel on the left includes a list of the pages available. Page status indicators are used to inform you about the status of each page.
