Direct Salary Cost

Includes:

•        Total calculated salary for each internal investigator and new staff member on the project (Type: Internal Investigators and Type: New Staff in the Project Team page)

•        Direct Salary Cost Total
Total of all listed direct salary costs

Other Direct Cost

Total costs for:

•        Consumable and capital items with a cost allocating, including all in-kind and cash contributions

•        Total calculated cost of external investigator salaries (Type: External Investigators in the Project Team page)

•        Total calculated cost of HDR student scholarships, if relevant to the project (Type: Students in the Project Team page)

•        Total calculated cost for facility usage, including all in-kind and cash contributions

•        Other Direct Cost Total which is a total of all listed other direct costs (above)

Totals

Total costs, broken into:

•        Total Direct Cost  (also shown in the Totals panel)
= Direct Salary Cost + Other Direct Cost

•        Total Indicative Cost to University (@xx%)
= Total Direct Cost x Cost Multiplier Percentage defined in the Institution Level funding rules)

Outputs with CPT data are created and managed by your RME administrators or office staff. They can be provided for different purposes, funders or stakeholders.
