This Costing and Pricing Tool page is used to allocate costs for facility usage to the relevant funder/s.
It lists facilities selected in the eForm application. To add or delete a facility, go to the related eForm application, make the changes, then re-display this page.
Long values in the grid: For some values in the grid, if it is longer than the column width, it is truncated with ellipses (...). You can either change the column width to show the full value or mouse over it to view a tooltip of the full value.
The totals for each facility and year of the project that are displayed in grey, bold text are automatically calculated and are read-only.
You can use your keyboard to navigate the grid.
This page supports the Costing and Pricing Tool (CPT), which was implemented in version 7.7.0 in mid-2021. Research Costing and Pricing (ReCaP) is a separate tool.

This page only displays and is editable if all of the following criteria is met:
One or more facilities are selected in the eForm.
The Project Type, Start Date and End Date have been defined in the eForm.
You have access to the Facility Usage page CPT015 via either a role or User Page Views. If not, contact your RME administrator.

Columns for each year of the project to allocate facility costs By default, facility costs are allocated to the primary fund scheme as cash. If there is no primary fund scheme, it is allocated to the institution. The value can be 0. You can add rows to split costs across other funders or the institution via the Add icon (+). Adjust values in each row accordingly. Total allocation per year cannot be more than the read-only amount shown in bold above the year column. Total allocation across all years for a facility cannot be more than the calculated cost shown in the Cost column.
Facility rates • If facility rates are stored in RME, the cost per year is calculated based on the facility rates defined in the Facility record. • If facility rates are not stored in RME, the cost per year is entered directly in the eForm in a Linked Facility RIC grid, Cost of Usage table element. These values are reflected in CPT exactly as entered in the eForm. |
