This is the welcome page for RME. It displays automatically when you log in, or when you click the ResearchMaster label at the top left.
It displays a dashboard if one has been set up for you. See: Dashboards or Dashboard widgets.
The RME layout includes the following common features (also shown in the image below):
1. RME menu: Along the left side of the screen is the main menu. You can toggle this to collapse or expand. For details, see: Layout - Main menu.
2. Breadcrumb trail: At the top of a page, a set of links shows you where you are in the RME system. You can select a link in this trail to display the linked page.
3. Dashboard: If your institution uses dashboards, a range of widgets display at-a-glance information. For more, see: Dashboards and Widgets.
4. Online Help: To the top right is a link that displays RME online help. When you are viewing a page, click Help to view the help content related to that page. In online help, the Table of Contents at the left lists the help pages available, based on the applied filter. See: How to use online help
5. Session menu: At the far right your username displays. From this, a dropdown menu provides options to log out and manage your own settings. See: Session menu
6. Footer: At the bottom of each page, the RME version number is shown, as well as any additional custom content for your institution. See: Footer
Default labels for options, fields and buttons are used in this help content;
these may be different if they have been personalised for your institution.
